Benjamin King family - Madison Co., IN

Today I finished sourcing the census records for the Benjamin King family in the 1900-1920 census of Orestes, Monroe Twp., Madison Co., IN. Benjamin was my maternal 2nd-great granduncle, the son of Daniel and Elizabeth (Shaw) King.

Benjamin was a factory worker, listed in various records as either working at a tile factory or tin plate factory. Later in life he was a worker at a glass factory. He owned his home free of mortgage and lived on First Street in the town of Orestes. In the 1910 census, wife Elizabeth is listed as the mother of six children, all of whom were still living.
